it's Friday again, while I'm not doing anything overly exciting this weekend with work and study, today I took Kelly out for a good walk and then had waffle for breakfast. I am so predictable with what I like, I always eat the same thing over and over again.

I love shirts with small buttons.

These are Kelly's toys along with a few doggy chew scattered around the house, she plays with them all the time and sometimes bring them to bed too. Today the two of them were placed so carefully and looked so cute together, I really think my dog is super smart.

hand warmer, they are not as bad as I thought.

winter is suppose to be fast approaching but the temperature went up to almost 100 degree today. I am stressed to the point of no return, working and going to school full time is something that if you try once, you definitely won't try again!
in the grind. and got my cute cute bobdog pencil bag stolen at the library while I stepped away to make a phone call to a friend. I will study from home from now on, is it the recession or what? I've had all kinds of things stolen from me while my eyes are not watching, wallets I understand, but used sneakers and pen bag and old purse? come on~!

I finished one glove, remember this? but I'm not overly impressed with the result, but I guess this will do for a first time glove, will have to ask my knitting teacher and see what she thinks I can do to make it look less "messy"

quick dinner at Walt Disney, apparently my appetite was great before a concert, ate two whole slice of bread with butter, halibut and mash. yummy!

Murray Perahia had a piano solo recital at Walt Disney tonight. I skipped whatever I had to do to be at the music hall. For someone like me who's been breaking her back working and studying lately, enjoying some fine music was a real nice change.

It's mid October now and the year will be over before I even know it, I think it's almost time to make a new wish list, I'm working on it... but I think the lack of travel has been a regret at the end of every year, I think for 2010 I will definitely make a trip to Europe, if I get nothing else done, well, that's just fine then!

My favorite bag at the moment, 24th birthday present from a few years back, it somehow managed to follow me quietly through several closet clean out and only become more handsome over the years:)

saw a dead puppy on the street today, guess it was ran over by a car, it made me feel sad. The world is so tough for helpless little animals. Kelly gets extra kisses and hugs today!

a quick lunch between classes and work. feel like I am always running around. Going to time myself and see how fast I can pick up things around my bed room, in let's say...15 mins?

*update!* Exchanged my Nikon D90 with Canon 50D, eh, it almost drove me nuts this whole week trying to take pictures with the nikon and it came out either too dark or too bright or too orangy, had to adjust for every single picture, and this morning it plainly just refused to work at all. So, a trip back to Samy's and paid almost $300 extra and finally got the Canon. It makes me nervous to buy something this expensive that's purely for recreational purpose, but now I finally have a good camera. There was so much traffic and smog on my way back home today and LA seemed like a dirty run down place. I probably don't see the beauty in anything when I am stressed out, was scared by camera sales people, almost got into a car accident, had a dog with me who tried to jump out of the window and was almost late for teaching!

I haven't much free time lately, but I couldn't resist the Coco Chanel movie, it was the best 2 hours movie time I've had in a while!

It's almost impossible for me to get the color right with a Nikon D90, I'd prefer a basic camera that makes my life much easier, til then I'm setting my pic to black and white!

fall is finally here, I am a much better person when the weather is cold, can't say enough how happy I am.
